Ronald Beach's road from a two-room schoolhouse to that of being an expert in virtualmanagement has been a great story all by itself. He used histechnical and leadership training acquired in the Marines to progress from an electronic computertechnician to Senior Director US Manufacturing in the high technology datastorage field.

After 25 years with companies like Western Digital, Emulex,Hitachi Computer Products, and LSI Logic, he completed his Ph. D. inOrganization and Management and has been managing online college degreeprograms for the last ten years. 

His first book, "The Virtual Divide" has won the2019 American Book Fest Best Book Finalist Award, as well as the 2020 DistinguishedFavorite in Leadership by the Independent Press Award.

In 2019, he won the Faculty of the Year Award from AshfordUniversity and has written several articles on leadership and management ofvirtual teams. He is a very proud John Maxwell Team Member and recognized as amentor, training, and public speaker.
