An excellent double-page chart details in outline form the viruses, diseases caused, organs attacked, symptoms, usual outcomes, and possibilities of an available vaccine. Students and teachers will love this feature. Variable-quality black-and-white photographs and diagrams aid in understanding topics under discussion. While the explantions of DNA and RNA are complex at times, this will serve as a useful introduction.
