Vishnu is the story of a child born into a loving family but left on the street due to unfortunate circumstances.
It is also a story of people willing to lend a helping hand to an abandoned child who was determined to escape
domestic help as a servant through self-education and persistent efforts to succeed despite failures.
Though this book is fiction, it depicts my personal experiences growing up in India and witnessing the
disparity between rich and poor, upper and lower castes, and the norms that were deeply ingrained in society sixty years ago.
