Welcome to the world of startups according to the Grumpy Entrepreneur. This book is a must-read for anyone brave (or foolish) enough to dive into the high-stakes, high-stress world of startup life over the next few years.
Inside, you'll find a guide as reliable as a Magic 8-ball, as insightful as a fortune cookie, and as prescient as a groundhog on February 2nd, all delivered with the signature charm of your favorite grumpy entrepreneur.
The Grumpy Entrepreneur, who has seen more pivots than a ballet dancer and weathered more rounds of funding than a Monopoly banker, will guide you through the chaos that is the startup ecosystem. Expect insights (both profound and profoundly obvious), forecasts (both accurate and wildly speculative), and advice (both useful and, well, less so).
From the terrifying terrain of market volatility to the murky waters of regulatory hurdles, from the buzzword bingo of AI and Machine Learning to the quagmire of fundraising in an economy as stable as a unicycle, this guide has got you covered.
But that's not all! The Grumpy Entrepreneur also provides a peek into the future with predictions for 2024 and 2025, using a blend of experience, cynicism, and a dartboard with various tech trends pinned to it.
So buckle up, put on your thickest skin, and dive into the world of startups with the grumpiest guide you could ask for. It's going to be a bumpy, hilarious, and enlightening ride. Just remember - if at first you don't succeed, there's always bankruptcy.
This book is not responsible for any failed startups, lost investments, or sudden urges to return to a 9-5 job

About the Author
British based although in my 20s spent far to much time in the US and partying in Monaco.
Worked on many web firsts but during the dotcom boom I got to be a founding part of Commerce One which was a Dotcom darling.
I then went bust, Commerce One went chapter 11 and I was 30. But when you have slept in bus shelters at the age of 18, you take everything in your stride.
Since then have built numerous companies, messed some up and have Pario Ventures which is me and my mates business with over 100 investments.
Why am I called The Grumpy Entrepreneur, we have my wife to thank for that. Her idea back in 2012 and since then I have trademarked it. Anyway enough of me, lets move on.
Feel free to drop me a message.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
