Slight bumping of dust jacket. Inscribed fly leaf. Slight tanning of pages. Slight fading of spine edge dust jacket. Vision Splendid swarms with the now-disappearing characters of the outback-the drovers, the bagmen, the boss-cockies, the Aboriginal stockmen, the stationhands and the ever-pervading Aboriginal women with whom cohabitation was frowned upon and overlooked but who nevertheless were a very real part of Territory life. With humour, a vast knowledge of human nature in the raw, at its best, the book gives a memorable account of an environment Tom Ronan has known for more than 40 years. The book went into five editions between 1954 and 1964.
