About the Authors

Patrick Fuery is the Director of the Center for CCI at Chapman University, USA. He was previously Dean of the Arts and Humanities College at Chapman, as well as Professor of Film and Media at the University of London, UK, Sussex University, UK, and Macquarie University. Australia. He is the author of nine books, including Intimacy and the Anxieties of Cinematic Flesh (Bloomsbury, 2023), Madness and Cinema (Bloomsbury, 2004), Visual Cultures and Critical Theory (Bloomsbury, 2003), and New Developments in Film Theory (Bloomsbury, 2000), as well as numerous book chapters and articles.

Patrick Fuery is Director of the ArtsHealth Research Centre and Professor of Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Newcastle, Australia.Kelli Fuery is Lecturer in Film, Media and Cultural Studies at the University of Newcastle, Australia.
