Visual Design on the Computer is designed for those who are seeking to learn the basics of two-dimensional design on the computer. The book approaches design from the computer perspective, and introduces a new visual language to tackle all basic design principles, without favoring any particular computer system or software. It covers techniques and methods commonly used in computer graphics, a review of draw and paint programs, as well as scanning, image-editing, and printing; the new edition includes color gradients, rasterization, the use of imported images, and basic color theory. over 1000 illustrations"Synopsis" may belong to another edition of this title.
