Visualizing Isaiah is a full- color book filled with beautiful photographs, maps, and charts that illuminate the words of the prophet Isaiah. Author Donald W. Parry, an expert on Isaiah and Old Testament texts, complements the book's gorgeous graphic elements with insight into Isaiah's world.

The book of Isaiah is filled with rich symbolism. Isaiah drew on life around him to illustrate with words the mission of Jesus Christ, the restoration of the gospel, the rewards of the righteous, the fate of the wicked, and prophecies for both modern and ancient times. Donald W. Parry holds a doctorate in Hebrew language and literature and is associate professor of Hebrew at Brigham Young University. He has published numerous books and articles on Old Testament subjects and is a member of the international team of translators of the Dead Sea Scrolls, working on the books of Isaiah and Samuel. Professor Parry is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Ancient Research and Mormon Studies (FARMS). He is married to Camille Mills Parry, and together they have six children.
