Kaswalder (Rover� della Luna, Trento, 22 giugno 1952-Gerusalemme 18 giugno 2014) � stato professore di Esegesi dell'Antico Testamento e Geografia biblica presso lo Studium Biblicum Franciscanum (Gerusalemme) e per anni guida alle Escursioni bibliche organizzate dallo stesso Ateneo. A un anno di distanza, questo libro vuole essere un omaggio alla sua figura di uomo, di francescano e di studioso attraverso i suoi scritti (pubblicati e inediti), i messaggi di cordoglio di amici, confratelli e conoscenti, il ricordo di chi lo ha conosciuto e ha condiviso con lui l'amore per la Terra di Ges�.
