About the Author

Alexis Rubertino is a 16 year old who has an old and wise soul. She has taken her own experienced of being bullied and betrayed, and turned them into beautiful melodies of poetic freedom. Although she told no one of her experiences, she wrote of them through her poems. These poems became her voice, as she is inspiring all teens to use some outlet to their pain, instead of the alternative of suicide or cutting or silence!
