The Voice of the Sea: A Little Mermaid Retelling

Laila has always loved the lore of sirens and mermaids, but she never thought they could be real. However, it’s hard to ignore her too good looking best friends, mystery deaths, and local folklore that swears sirens are very real. Cyrus and Jamie, Laila’s two best friends, are sirens and they plan on immersing Laila into their world in a way that will leave her wanting more. Ursula has a vested interest in the Little Mermaid’s descendant and all her plans for Laila will happen whether Laila likes it or not. What happens when the crush on Cyrus turns into more than Laila could have ever imagined? What happens when the creatures of lore are real? Can Laila handle her new world or will she drown by the hands of those trusts?
