Voices of the Lost Year

Voices of the Lost Year is a collection of short fiction in a variety of genres by several Rhode Island teenagers who completed a LORI grant-funded writing workshop at the West Warwick Public Library.

In this collection you'll find tales from eight Rhode Island teens across a variety of genres. Join a young woman in a technologically advanced utopia who has to make a big choice, or discover the dark secret of an artist's touch. Will you accept an invitation from an estranged father with a disturbing secret, or join a bold young woman in a fight for justice? Perhaps you'll find the beast within amid a crumbling kingdom or lift an ancient curse below the waves. Walk a ways down quiet suburban streets, but are you sure you're alone? A bargain is waiting for you in the deep, dark woods, if you'll pay the price.

Ali Bryant is a writer, which, considering you are reading this, makes perfect sense. She is best known for her books on Wattpad with an outstanding total of over 32,000 worldwide online readers. She has been thrice nominated for the Red Feather Award, along with one nomination in the historical fiction category for the Wattys 2019. Nathan Moone is a Creative Writing major at Ithaca College with a passion for horror (yes, creepy crawlies included) and the drama that ensues. Nathan's love of travel and exploration starting when he travelled to Australia as a US representative for Track and Field in High School.
