Volant Legacy Book II Luna is an exciting techno-thriller. The story fuses ambitious American space travel plans with a human story of a gifted pilot and astronaut. The character development and the suspenseful lunar events combine for an exciting and believable read. Kevin is a typical a test pilot in demeanor and skills. The skillful use of real NASA plans to create an exciting forecast of the construction of a lunar base is worth remembering for future space travelers. The challenges that Kevin faces speak to unanticipated failure modes which Lunar and Martian colonist will surely encounter. The inclusion of the well documented Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP) controversy brings a thought-provoking aspect to the story
