- Book 1 of 1: VS
War has become a spectator sport. Privately funded armies of superstar soldiers march into battle for fame, profit, and the glory of their sponsor nations.
When a new generation of soldiers arrive, top gladiator Satta Flynn is about to discover how fleeting the limelight can be.
From writer IVAN BRANDON (BLACK CLOUD, DRIFTER) and superstar artist ESAD RIBIC (Secret Wars, Uncanny X-Force) in his creator-owned Image debut, with painted color by NIC KLEIN and designs by TOM MULLER, VS delivers spectacular action, darkly humorous satire and explores our hunger for fame and our penchant for self-destruction

Review
“A comic that cranks its core conceits, violence and black humor, right up to eleven and ensures no reader will be able to ignore its twisted beginning.” —ComicBook.com
“A Robocop-esque satire where actual warfare becomes a game.” —The Oregonian
“Each page of this comic looks like the cover of a classic science fiction pulp, grabbing you outright by way of its bold artwork.” —Nerdist
“A smart mix of Ribic’s gorgeous art and outright pulp that’s a lot of fun.” —Uproxx
“VS marches to the beat of its own drum...both rare and invigorating to find a book that’s able to cultivate and repurpose it’s influences while still making a case for its own existence.” —Newsarama
