Illustrated with drawings, charts, and graphs. This set is in very good antiquarian condition. Sunning, chipping, and wear to the spines and corners. Scuffing to the board edges. The bottom corner of "New Fragments" is creased. Large notation present on the front paste-downs of all volumes. The textblocks are remarkably clean and bright with tight binding. This collection contains 6 volumes of Tyndall's most famous works including: Sound: A Course of Eight Lectures, Hours of Exercise in the Alps, The Forms of Water in Clouds and Rivers, Ice and Glaciers, Fragments of Science: A Series of Detached Essays, Lectures, and Reviews [ 2 volumes] and New Fragments.
