Phipps, M.A. These items are bound together in the remains of a half leather binding but this is now very badly worn and the leather is very damaged and torn with sections missing. The spine is almost detached - the boards are holding, but only just. Bookplate to the front pastedown signed? by Pownoll W Phipps. Ink note on the front free end paper- This contains the Year Books of the Parish from 1884 to 1888-9 inclusive and then papers of the Bucks Archaeological Society beginning with Uncle PWP's account of the Parish Church. Signed with illegible initials. The first item has a browned title page on which there are some pencil notes by the binder. Pownoll William Phipps was the Rector at Chalfont St Giles from 1886.
