A numbered nine-volume series of Kipling works: fiction, poetry, essays, autobiography, each 190 to 450 pages. Books, in flexible covers, show only a bit of shelfwear, with Kipling swastikas at top and bottom of spine and opposite title page. Bindings tight; all pages clean; gilt text slightly worn. There's no listing of the volumes, but it seems like a complete series: Vol. 9 concludes with "The Kipling Index," a meticulous 48-page listing of every story and poem in "the authorized American trade edition of Rudyard Kipling's works."
