Carlevarijs; Gravé par Jean Hauer; Damp stain in upper right corner. Overall in very good state. Hand coloured optical view of the square in front of the St. Marco in Venice, Italy. The picture is portrayed as seen from the canal. In the distance the Campanile di San Marco towers above the city. In the front merchants try to dock their vessels. This detailed print is hand coloured soft pastel-like colours. In the bottom margin the title is handwritten in Dutch: 'Gezigt van de plaats de (.)'. Seller Inventory # 61232
