Solid, square copy with tight binding and sound hinges. Red cloth remains attractive with light rubbing, scattered soiling, and minor wear at the spine ends and corners. Gilt lettering on the front board and spine is bright and easily legible. Interior is exceptionally clean with bright pages and no foxing noted. A previous owner's ink number ("50278") appears on the dedication page. No bookplates, writing, or library markings. A handsome, well-preserved example of this early printing.
