WARGAMES RULES FOR 3000 BC TO 1485 AD (PB)

Acceptable reading condition used Stapled Paperback Booklet. Fully Revised Edition Published in Aug 1992 by Wargames Research Group (WRG), UK. Author: Phil Barker. Approx dims: 240mm h x 175mm w x 5mm d. Intact worn condition pictorial cover with torn spine, creasing & signs of handling. Inner pages still firmly affixed to cover with top staple, but loose from bottom staple. 48 clean pages of English text. Pages 23-26 are loose. Previous owner has made pencil notes & lines on some pages. These notes appear to be corrections/additions to text and rules. There is also an additional loose printed quick reference card with pencil notes. (see images provided). Image shown is actual book for sale. 48 page rulebook, for recreation of battles on the tabletop using model figures, with quick reference card. This was the last of what I would term the more conventional series of rules written by Phil Barker for the Ancient Period, before the advent of the DBA and DBM quick play systems. The major change made in 7th edition from the earlier Ancients rules was the virtual elimination of the contentious morale test.
