Water let on. VII. Chorus from the Oratorio of Elijah. The celebration marking the completion of the Cochituate Aqueduct to bring fresh water to Boston. The Brookline Reservoir was the terminus of the 15 mile aqueduct from Lake Cochituate. It was only the second major urban aqueduct in the U.S., the first was New York s Croton Aqueduct built six years earlier. A scarce Lowell piece, BAL 13067 state B (no priority) lists a handful.
