The Brookline Reservoir was the terminus of the 15 mile aqueduct from Lake Cochituate. It was only the second major urban aqueduct in the U.S., the first was New York's Croton Aqueduct built six years earlier. A scarce Lowell piece, BAL 13067 state B (no priority) lists a handful.
