Quarto. 11 x 8 3/4". 318pp. incl. index. Bound internal city publication. Typescript. This copy belonging to Ivan L. Bateman, Chief Electrical Engineer and Assistant Manager of the Department of Water and Power, with his ownership signature. Very light wear to spine ends. Joseph Gregg Layne (1885-1952) was a leading authority and bibliographer of Californiana as well as president, member of the board of directors and editor of Southern California Historical Society Quarterly.

Lost Horizon Bookstore is a family run business, established in downtown Santa Barbara in 1983. We have recently moved to the upper village of Montecito , CA. We have a small, but select stock, ranging in price from a few dollars to several thousand. We have an excellent selection of books in the fields of Art, Architecture, Design and Decorative Arts. We are also strong in Western and California History, Archaeology and Ethnographic Art. Hours: Mon-Sat, 11-6.

Orders usually ship within 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. Domestic media mail postage for most hardcover books: $7.00 first book,$2.00/book after. Priority Mail is calculated at $19.50, and is for the Medium Flat rate box, we will adjust cost for small books that fit into the flat rate envelope to $10.50. All domestic items will be sent with Delivery Confirmation, more expensive items will be sent with Signature Confirmation also. International mail, Priority mail, insurance or oversize books may have additional charge. Small books can often fit into International Priority (6-10 business days) Flat Rate Envelope @ $55.00; Larger items, such as Art books often require International Priority Medium Flat Rate Box @ approx. $96.00.
