Milk chocolate cloth with front cover lettering and decorations in gilt. Rear cover a duplicate of front cover only the lettering and decorations are blind stamped. Patterned EP's. 144 pages. 8vo. Illustrated throughout with numerous drawings showing the various exercises. Also several pages of music to accompany certain exercises. Both men and women are shown in the drawings; the women are covered to the ankles in the style of the day. Pretty tame exercises by the standards of today's physical fitness. There is an extensive introduction followed by the main section on General Exercises. These exercises include: Chest Exercises, Vocal Exercises, Shoulder Exercise, Elbow Exercise, Arm and Hand Exercise, Head and Neck Exercise, Trunk and Waist Exercise, Knee Exercise, Leg and Foot Exercise, and Combined Exercises. An early exercise guide and quite scarce today. Covers moderately worn with a small chew at the bottom of the rear cover. Interior sound, tight and clean.
