2nd edition, revised and enlarged, 1893. A Good copy. 8vo., 262 pp., bound in publishers blue cloth with titles in gilt on front cover and spine. Tips, edges and spine rubbed through in spots; light overall wear to cloth; gilt dulled. First end papers and frontis detached. End papers toned. front hinge hanging on by a few strands. Very light age toning at edges of paper; text appears unmarked. Helen Lathrop Gilbert Ecob was an American writer and suffragist. She was involved in dress reform and women's suffrage throughout her life.
