Item description from seller

Volumes 1 and 2 only of a 3 volume set. Brown leather bound covers are worn, volume 1 chipped on spine, and the boards to volume 1 are detached. Boards and spine are straight. Binding is tight. Former owner's antiquated bookplate affixed to front paste downs. The name engraved on the early 19th century bookplates is "W. Hulton Esq. Hulton Park." William Hulton, the Hulton family, Hulton Park are of historical significance. Pages are lightly toned with light foxing but clean and in very good condition. The very good condition of the contents and historical significance of the original owner make this a worthy set for rebinding. .
