Gilt Lettering in 2nd & 4th Compartments and Gilt Decoration in others. Gilt Triple LKinear Border to fronts and rear boards. All Page Edges Marbled. Gilt Decoration on inner border. 8 1/2" Tall. Some edge wear and wear down sides of spines. 2 of the Scotland Vols have a fine split 2" or 3" long down right side of spine. 1 Vol. of Charles V has a split all down the right side of spine and another has a narrow strip of leather missing at bottom left corner (see photos. The India Volume has the front board detached (but present), probably due to the thickness of the map. Most hinges sound and all Text Blocks firM. No inscriptions. Only a little occasional light browning, most pages in very good, clean condition. Nice, complete set with Maps intact. Weighs 8 Kilos so Shipping outside Uk will be extra.
