1872, London, John Murray, five volumes, constituting the complete works extant (Romano Lavo Lil was not published until 1874) and the only collected uniform edition published in Borrow's lifetime, ppxx + 264; x + 326; xxii + 329; viii + 236; xii + 347, uniform brown cloth, lettered in gilt, blind stamped boards. The first two titles are described new edition on the title page, the last three third edition (Lavengro is in fact the true second edition), black and white engraved portrait in volume one. Lower hinges of two volumes beginning to split, very slightly frayed on tops of spines, otherwise very good. Seller Inventory # 12308
