A New Illustrated Edition ". Undated but the British Library gives 1890. Size c. 7 x 4.75 inches, pp. fold-out map + vi + 144 + 3 plates, numerous illustrations in the text, black leather limp binding. Book condition - Very Good ; preliminaries a bit dusty otherwise clean, no foxing, ink inscription on the flyleaf ("Henry Gordon "), no other inscriptions, binding firm with inner hinges intact ; black, grained leather on boards and spine ; back and front clean, corners a bit worn and rubbed, covers' edges slightly chipped and rubbed, the spine is a replacement but done with a leather of very similar age and type and very neatly integrated with the board leather. Please see the photos for indications of the condition and contents. The book was probably originally issued with card covers, and while this black leather binding is later it was likely done soon after publication. Uncommon. Seller Inventory # 2125
