Synopsis

Bei diesem Buch handelt es sich tatsachlich um "Lecture Notes". Das Manuskript ist aus Vorlesungen Uber Wachstumstheorie entstanden, die ich im Wintersemester 1966/67 und im Wintersemester 1969/70 an der Universitat Bonn gehalten habe, das erste Mal fUr Student en hoherer Semester, das zweite Mal im Rahmen des Grundstudiums. FUr jede Vor- lesungsstunde wurden handschriftliche Notizen mit den Grundthesen und allen mathematischen Ableitungen (also "Original-Lecture Notes") ver- vielfaltigt an die Student en ausgegeben. Auf Grund dieser Notizen haben Herr Gabisch und ich unter Mitarbeit von Herrn Burgermeister dann das vorliegende Buch ausgearbeitet. Die Vorlesungen sind nicht ganz genau in der hier veroffentlichten Form gehalten worden. Die Vorlesung fUr hohere Semester ist Uber die hier vorgelegte Fassung hinausgegangen, wahrend die Vorlesung fUr das Grundstudium in einigen Teilen dahinter zurUckgeblieben ist. Das von Neumann-Wachstumsmodell konnte in der Vorlesung aus Zeitmangel nur ge- streift werden, das Turnpike-Theorem wurde Uberhaupt nicht gebracht. Diese Abschnitte sind von Herrn Gabisch bzw. Herrn Burgermeister be- arbeitet und eingefUgt worden. Ahnliches gilt fUr das Uzawa-Zwei- Sektoren-Wachstumsmodell, das in der Vorlesung aus Zeitgrtinden eben- falls nur gestreift werden konnte. DafUr sind die Verbindungen zur Konjunkturtheorie, also die Uberlagerungen von Schwingungen Uber ei- nen Wachstumstrend, und zahlreiche weitergehende Einzelheite, Bei- spiele und Erlauterungen hier fortgelassen, die in der Vorlesung be- handelt wurden.
