Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition (unstated) of a VG-hardcover in no dust jacket (if issued). Whiteout on the title page; a penned number on the dedication page; the remnants of a paper label on the rear paste-down; and a black mark on the pages' bottom edge that bleeds slightly into the bottom margin of a few pages. While not bright white, the contents otherwise appear clean, complete, and securely bound. Uncut fore and bottom edges. Gilt top edge; uncut fore and bottom edge. Burgundy cloth with gilt spine lettering. The spine is sun faded and has faint call letters near the tail.
