Pingping Xu is an early childhood educator who writes in her spare time. She is a member of the Zhejiang Province Writers' Association and has published more than 700 stories. Her works have won the Bingxin Children's Literature New Writing Award, First Prize at the Nursery Rhyme Competition, and many others.
Ying Huang graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Fujian Normal University in 1991, majoring in decoration, and spent her early years in interior design before becoming a professional illustrator. She likes to draw in a childish style and experiment with various forms of expression to convey warm and simple meaning. Her works have received many national awards and have been published abroad. In Search of the Rainbow won the National Book Award in 2001.
