Quarto. [4], iv, 416pp., and issue numbers 1-26 of the weekly "Journal of Belles Lettres" bound in at the back: July 3-December 25, 1838. Contemporary half-calf and marbled paper boards. Lacks the front board, back board detached, else good or better with some browning only to the pages of the weekly Journal at the back. Contains "Mrs. Leicester's School," by Mary Lamb, sister and collaborator of Charles Lamb, "Wedding Slippers," by Mary Mitford, various lectures delivered before the Athenian Institute and Mercantile Library, and popular literary works of the day.
