About the Author
Garth Ennis est un scénariste de comics irlandais. Né en 1970 en Irlande du Nord, il commence dans le milieu de la bande dessinée avec la série Troubled Souls, une œuvre dont le style violent et à l'humour irrévérencieux deviendront sa marque de fabrique. Rapidement repéré par DC Comics , on lui confie le soin de revisiter la célèbre série Hellblazer , aux côtés du dessinateur Steve Dillon. Le duo fonctionne à tel point qu'ils se lancent dans la création de Preacher , série acclamée par la critique et qui leur vaudra de nombreux prix. En parallèle, Garth Ennis continue de travailler pour DC Comics et Marvel sur de grosses licences ( Hitman, Punisher ). En 2006, il scénarise une nouvelle création, The Boys , un succès aussi bien en comics qu'en série TV avec la diffusion d'une première saison Amazon en 2019.
Goran Sudžuka est un dessinateur et illustrateur croate. Né à Zagreb en 1969, il étudie les arts appliqués et le design. En 1989, il rejoint un studio d'animation et commence à publier ses premiers dessins. Après quelques années de travail, les gros éditeurs US commencent à s'intéresser à lui et il a depuis eu l'occasion de collaborer à de nombreux projets DC Comics ( Batman, Wonder Woman, Hellblazer, Justice League ) et Marvel ( Wolverine, Daredevil ). Avec Jamie Delan au scénario, il crée la série de comics Outlaw Nation, pour laquelle il obtient le prix Russ Manning, consacrant les nouveaux auteurs de comics les plus prometteurs. Il a également participé en tant que dessinateur invité à la série Y-The Last Man chez Vertigo .
