My Walk Through the Valley of The Shadow of Death: Faith in the Face of the Storm

My Walk Through the Valley of The Shadow of Death is based on my feelings and experiences after learning that I was diagnosed with late-stage bile duct and liver cancer, a rare and aggressive cancer with a low survival rate. Once it became clear to me what I was facing, I knew that my only chance for survival was to seek the best medical treatment available and strengthen my faith and dependency on God, the Holy Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit. God has always been present in my life and has blessed me with so much. But as I faced my darkest challenge, I realized that I needed Him now more than ever. I knew that His love was abundant, His mercy endless, and His grace miraculous. I needed a miracle that only He could bestow upon me. This collection of poems ranges from fear to faith, doubt to courage, and anger to humility. Remembering and practicing my unyielding trust, faith, and love in the Holy Trinity regardless of my fate. Jesus, the Lion of Judah, has always been with me and in this deadly storm, I would now rely on his courage, strength, and mercy more than ever.
