Walk This Way: An Interactive Guide to Following Jesus

THEY WERE THE DISCIPLES' FIRST FORMAL INSTRUCTIONS.

In his first private session with the disciples, Jesus didn't give them His mission statement or a plan to change the world. Instead, He used eight succinct sentences, ninety-six simple words, to draw a picture of what He required in a disciple. He gave the instruction manual for discipleship with an attitude: the Beatitudes.

Walk This Way makes life-changing discipleship accessible to everyone. Each chapter takes a look at one of those first instructions and then helps you think it through, talk it over, and live it out. It creates an interactive mix of the Beatitudes with culturally relevant quotes and statistics, top ten lists, and stories to guide you to walk the way Jesus did.

Whether you're in need of refreshment or a place to start, Walk This Way provides the simple instruction manual you need.

"The Beatitudes are the key to ordinary Christians living extraordinary lives and Tim has captured a unique way to help us all Walk This Way."-Rich Hurst, MDiv., national consultant for Cook Communications International, author of Calling and Giving the Ministry Away.

"Looking at today's TV and newspapers, does anybody have to be reminded that we constantly need new, vital, contemporary instruction to how to 'walk the walk' and not just 'talk the talk'? I can't wait for Tim Woodroof's excellent book to be made available everywhere, and as soon as possible! I wish we could pass a law making it imperative for every American to read this book!"-Pat Boone

"Fully in touch with both the terrain of modern life and the map of Jesus' teaching, Walk This Way is an incredibly useful guide to Christian living. I will be recommending this book to new Christians and some 'old' ones as well."-David Davenport, president, Pepperdine University

"Tim Woodroof has taken one of the most well known sections of the Bible and shed a dynamic new light on it. Walk This Way is a concise, understandable presentation on the Beatitudes."-Trevor J. Bron, senior teaching pastor of The Next Level Church, Denver, Colorado
