Second Edition, Limited to 550 copies of British naval commander, Sir Hovenden Walker s account of his failed attempt to capture the city of Quebec in August 1711, for which he was peremptorily dismissed from service. It is based on memory, a pocket diary, and various letters and documents supplied to him by the secretary of the Admiralty, Josiah Burchett (most of Walker s original books, journals and charts from the expedition perished in an explosion in 1711).
