At the age of 72+, I am still going strong with my favorite hobby which is measuring antlers of North America's whitetail deer. My scoring career began in the spring of 1995 when I became a Certified Scorer for Buckmasters Whitetail Trophy Records. During these 21 plus years I have measured in excess of 3,300 sets of antlers and sheds. As of the publication date of this book, I have measured more than 1,280 racks that met the minimum score for entry in Buckmasters Whitetail Trophy Records. Five of those deer carried racks exceeding 300 inches of antler, all were free roaming deer.
