There is some chipping along the edges of the front and back covers and on the spine. The top and bottom of the spine have some tears.There is some creases on the front cover near the spine. Inside the front cover there is some tearing where the spine meets the cover. There is an inscription to the previous owner on the front free end page in black pen and a black pen mark which extends almost across the page. Despite the imperfections listed above, this is a beautiful book.
