Pictures include: Gethsemane Garden at the foot of Mount Olives, Church of the Beatitudes and the Jordan River where Hammond and her husband were baptized. Captivating images of nature located in the Pacific Northwest, Eastern Washington and Central Oregon are also included.

JJ Hammond was born in Pryor, Oklahoma, and began writing poetry at age nine. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and special education from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and completed her graduate studies in administration and curriculum design at Gonzaga University in Eastern Washington. This is her first book of poems.
