The Wandering Years: Lessons Learned In The Wilderness (Book 2)

Why, instead of enjoying the fruits of the land of milk and honey, did the Israelites end up wandering in a desert wilderness for forty years? Why is that sometimes also true in our own wilderness journeys?

Pastor and author Ken Winter writes, “Looking back at my own life, it is easy to see where God turned me back from the land of promise to wander a while longer in the wilderness.” God has given us the wilderness to prepare us for His land of promise, but if when we reach the border we are not ready, He will turn us back to continue to wander.

If God is allowing you to continue to wander in the wilderness, it is because He has more to teach you about Himself – His Person, His purpose and His power. This second book in the Lessons Learned in the Wilderness series chronicles the Israelites’ time as they wandered through the wilderness as recorded in the books of Numbers and Deuteronomy, and the truths that are applicable to our own lives today.

As you read a chapter each day or read it straight through, allow God to use it to encourage you, challenge you and teach you as you follow Him in your own personal journey.
