Make Me Want it Too

Macy
I’ve just been dumped two weeks before my best friend’s wedding. It gets worse. I’m the maid of honor and my now ex-boyfriend is the groom’s brother and best man.

I’d give anything not to go to this wedding sad and alone.

Enter Wood—charming, life of the party, ladies’ man who could also pass for one of those Greek marble statues—who offers to accompany me as my new fake boyfriend.

The problem is no one will believe someone like him (a hard ten who dates models) would ever be into someone like me (plain, boring, and introverted).

I’ve been in love with her since we met. Six years of secret pining. But she was taken.

Offering to be her fake boyfriend is either the smartest or dumbest thing I’ve ever done. Scratch that—offering to help her let off some steam in bed while we’re here has to be the most idiotic. This relationship may be fake, but her orgasms are not.

I know I’m not good enough for her—not intelligent enough, not serious enough—but being with her like this is giving me hope.

Maybe she’ll give me a chance, for real. Or maybe she’ll break my heart.
