I Want You!

This volume documents how the United States military was transformed from a poorly disciplined force of conscripts and draft-motivated "volunteers" to a force of professionals revered throughout the world. An accompanying DVD offers a vast archive of primary-source materials, including formerly classified correspondence between senior government officials, linked directly from citations in the electronic version of the book.
