AmeriCorps Memoir about a college girl who starts her first real "job" in California. Jenn Ruben was born and raised in Michigan. She published her first book at the age of 24, "I Wanted Sunshine But Ran . . . Sideways." A graduate of Michigan State University, Jenn lives in California and Michigan and is currently enrolled in graduate school working on her masters in humanities.
