Undated but Circa 1920'3 - 1930's based on style of design and adverts. A Pictorial and Descriptive Guide to Lynton, Lynmouth, Exmoor, Minehead, and the Land of “Lorna Doone.” Ward, Lock & Co., Limited. Tenth Edition—Revised. Includes seventy illustrations, with plans of Lynton, Lynmouth, and Minehead, and two maps of North Devon. Part of the famous Ward Lock "Red Guide" series, these volumes were essential companions for the Edwardian and interwar tourist, blending practical information, sightseeing notes, and extensive period advertising. Front cover detached from the spine binding but still present and attached via cloth binding; wear to edges and corners; spine frayed with some loss. Covers show soiling and fading. Pages generally clean but with some foxing and toning consistent with age. All maps and illustrations appear present. Binding loose in places but holding.

A few are valuable first editions, while others are simply well-loved reading copies that deserve a good new home. I am not a professional bookseller, just someone who would like to see these books enjoyed and appreciated by others.
