Item description from seller

The first British hardcover was from Methuen the year before (1920), priced 6/-: this is the first ''Cheap Edition'', smaller format, part of the Methuen 2/6 series of reprints. A very attractive copy of a very fragile, uncommon UK hardcover. Pages browning, 3cm split along rear hinge, a VG+ copy (red, unmarked, unfaded covers with clear black lettering), in an almost fine bright pictorial dustjacket (priced 2/6 on the spine) with some background browning to the spine panel (not affecting lettering) and a little browning along both flap folds.
