Don't Waste the Wait: 4 Steps to Take when God's Timing Feels Too Slow (Paperback or Softback)

Don’t Waste Your Delay—Discover God’s Purpose in the Pause

Are you stuck in a season that feels like it’s on hold? Do you feel like you’re just “getting through” instead of truly living? Whether you’re between assignments, waiting on breakthrough, or unsure of what’s next, this season is not a waste. You don’t have to sit idle, frustrated, or spiritually dry—because God never wastes a waiting season.

Through years of pastoring, preaching, and personal growth, J. Geoffrey Graff uncovered the power of purposeful waiting. Drawing from the overlooked prison years of the Apostle Paul and his own years of humble, unseen service, Graff reveals that how you wait determines how well you walk into your next assignment. This breakthrough resource reveals how to turn delay into development, frustration into formation, and questions into confidence.

By embracing this season as preparation, you’ll discover how to:

• Watch for hidden opportunities even when your environment feels pointless.
• Act in faith—even without full clarity—by refusing comparison and condemnation.
• Improve your gifts and character while trusting God’s long-term strategy.
• Discern the people, attitudes, and advice that sabotage your spiritual progress.
• Navigate transitional seasons with boldness and expectancy.
• Stay faithful in the pasture so you’re ready for the platform.
• Shift from passively waiting on God to actively partnering with Him.

You’re not disqualified just because life is on pause. God is preparing you in ways you can’t yet see. Don’t waste another moment wishing the wait away. Rise with vision, engage with purpose, and walk forward with trust.
