He contributes to various magazines, including Chronos Japan and ZEIT Magazin. In 2018, he co-founded the popular website www.uhrenkosmos.com. Gisbert Brunner has published over 30 books on watchmaking, ten with teNeues, for example the bestsellers The Watch Book I and II and The Watch Book Rolex in 2017 as well as 100 Iconic Watches (2024).
