Black-stamped decoration and print to front board. Gilt print along spine, black bands at head and tail. Boards are scuffed and lightly soiled, decoration and print remains quite fresh. Extremities are rubbed. Corners are bumped and beginning to rub through. Text-block has pulled away from spine. Binding is holding together well, though beginning to crack and loosen. Gutters are splitting at front and rear endpapers. Previous owner's inscription at front pastedown. Interior is age-toned with some signs of foxing and the occasional spot of mild soiling, text and images remain clean and clear. Bit of soiling to page edges.
