Good - a working manual that was carried and used at sea. The navy blue leatherette boards show moderate to heavy surface scuffing and wear, heaviest at the corners and edges, and there is wear along the spine with slight separation at the head. Some of the white streaks on the front cover in the photographs are camera glare, but others have the irregular, textured edges of genuine surface abrasion and are called wear here. No dust jacket, and none was issued for this binding. A PREVIOUS OWNER'S NAME AND NAVY RATE ARE WRITTEN BY HAND on a notes page in the back matter, with a handwritten number on the facing page; both are left exactly as found, and the name itself is not reproduced here. The interior is otherwise clean and white, with no highlighting or underlining found in the pages examined. The binding is intact and the pages lie flat. No library markings of any kind - no call-number label, spine label, stamp, card pocket, or date-due slip.
