A very scarce watch bill for the commander of a late nineteenth century ship, this edition belonging to Admiral C. F. Thursby. Scarce edition of Watch, Station, Quarter and Fire Bills, &c. For the Use of Her Majesty's Mastless Ships.Published for H. M. Stationary Office by Cartwright & Rattray Limited.Owned by Admiral Sir Cecil F. Thursby while commander. Signed 'Commander' to the first free endpaper.Includes various lists and records essential to the running of the ship, many pages of which have been filled in with ink and pencil. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. This has resulted in some slight wear to the cloth in these areas. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Very Good.
